My time at Riverdale

My years at Riverdale has been a smash! With all the great opportunities we've had! Heres one. In term 3 I went to the 2010 DANCE NZ MADE INTER SCHOOL Competition! We were there from 8:45 to 9:32! To be exact. I had as much fun as riding a hippo to the moon! We came first for our category. I was also in the Inter school swimming sports team! we came first with 82 points! AND it was the first time I got into any inter school sports team! In the 2010 New South Whales English and Maths Exams I got credit for English and participation in Maths! The best thing about 2010 or maybe the second best thing is that.............. I AM HEAD OF STUDENT COUNCIL! I really enjoyed the 2008 production I was in 3 acts. 1. Te Puawai 2. Choir and 3. Our class dance. I've enjoyed all of the camps especially Camp David because there was tons of fun activities! My favourite one was the 3 wire bridge and orse riding! I'm going to be very sad when I leave and I am going to miss all of my friends and junior budds and I am really going to miss my Bff Likable Libby because she was a great friend (and a bit of a comedian) I would like to thank every one for making this the best 6 years of my life!Kate

Quiddage

Well Quiddage,where do I start? There have been so many fun memories from Quiddage.

I like quiddage because it teaches you to learn how to spend your money wisely.

Plus all of the great food and activity stores are also so great.

Here is a great food store; L@ Soupers. The L@ Soupers sell soup and bread. But of course I don't like soup, so I just have the bread. There is always different bread, for the small is S10 for the big is S20. There is different types of bread sold at the L@ Soupers. Like nan bread, rotie and slices of white bread. All home made of course.

But this is just one of the many food stores/stalls at quiddage.

Like, The Fizzders. Can you guess what they sell? Well you got it because the fizzders sell the one and only sherbet. But not just any sherbet; its the best sherbet you have ever tasted in like 100,000,000 years!!! Well OK not that many but you get the point.

Fizzders is like the most fast selling quiddage business of all time. They are sold out in like the first 20 minutes of quiddage.

There are not just food stores there are also many other activity shops like; SLING SHOT! Its like the best shop in the whole world!

But the time is up so you'll just have to wait to next time

"Take your marks... GO," Yelled Mr Bron. We were off at over 200,000 miles per hour. OK maybe not that fast but you get what I mean.
Run and JUMP and run and JUMP! Stumble.
Do you know what we were doing?? Yes we are doing hurdles.


I can see the finish AND, I am coming second! "Niamh,Kate,Renne and Jasmine," Yelled Mr McNourght over the yelling of our yer 6 and 5 friends. YA! I came second.
" Take a rod and sit down over there," Said Mr McNorght as he handed us the small orange rectangular rods. So I do.Next up the finals.


" OK every one in this line go up to the start line," Mr McNorght told us.
We walk up. OK So now the butter files in my tummy are flapping their wings at over 200,000 miles per hour. OK maybe not that fast but you get what I mean.
OK so now we are at the finals .

My Best Writing

As I walk along the walk way I feel the cold autumn breeze on my face and arm and legs.All the leafs that used to be Green are now brown, orange, red and yellow.All the leafs are slowly swaying swishing down to the ground. As I walk, I feel as if I was walking through a big arch with lots of leafs falling to the ground. The trees are slowly swishing from one side to another as I stop walking I lie down on a leaf bed. A big gust of wind sunddley blows all the leafs of making a top layer of fresh leafs on me.

WHAT did I learn?: I learn't that you have to try very hard and persever to get the times or number of something you want.
WHAT did I do well?: I think that I did the skipping very well and I got a good number of skips every week.
WHAT is my next learning step?: I think next time I will try to do it non-stop on step ups and skipping and try to go faster on the ins and outs and tennis ball run.

Emily: (saying quietly) I'm bored lets go outside
Gregg:(saying quite mean) OK but whats in it for me?
(Tanzey walks in)
Tanzey: Hey!What are you guys doing?
Emily:We're going outside!
Tanzey: Cool! Came I come?
Gregg: NO!!!!
Emily: Don't mind him
( They walk out, When they are out the computers turn off)
BOOM!!!!!
Tanzey:(looking surprised) WOW! What was that?
Emily: I don't know! I think all the computers just turned of? do you want to go and see?
(they walk in)
(At that moment Sally flies in)

Gregg: who are you and GET OUT!
